Now that he's wrapped up his 365 Initiative, Atlanta Designer & Illustrator (and Egotist Member) James Martin has begun his next self-enforced creative assignment. Over the 52 weeks of 2011, James will complete twelve projects. He is aptly naming the initiative "12 FIFTY TWO". Yesterday, in honor of 11.11.11, James announced the twelve projects that will no doubt keep him very busy in 2011. Have some ideas about James' projects, or want to collaborate with him? He's open to suggestion.
Norcross, GA based Alternative Apparel has a new logo. We like it. Much more "premier casual lifestyle apparel brand" than the "2001 interactive agency" look of their old mark. The new logo was created in house, no love for our great ATL design houses.
Matchstic's "On The House" program is a great case study for pro-bono work. It's clear from their work with the Atlanta Mission in 2010 that they truly treat their "On The House" clients like any other, paying, client. Here's a recap of their rebrand.
We haven't heard anything about Sega for a long time, but turns out they've been hiding out making urinal games that are now revolutionizing the peeing experience in Tokyo. The urinal games use the force of your stream to control the game, for example "The North Wind and Her" features a "horny north wind" blowing a dress off a girl. The stronger the pressure of your urine, the harder it blows. There's also a multiplayer game, "Milk From The Nose," where you compete against the person who peed before you.to see who can squirt milk out of the avatars nose harder. You can even store your scores on your USB to impress your friends with later. Unfortunately none of the games feature the beloved Sonic The Hedgehog.
