    You know what Georgios Saliaris learned last year, find out how he and partner Larry Luk got started in Atlanta.

    "When Georgios Saliaris and Larry Luk studied graphic design at Atlanta’s Portfolio Center, they claimed the school’s basement as their unofficial studio and perfected their screenprinting techniques inside its tiny closet. They took select requests from their graduate school colleagues, though they concentrated most on creating bold, thoughtfully-designed streetwear – t-shirts that they and their photographer friends would throw on without hesitation."

  • Starbucks Strips Down

    Starbucks unveiled their updated and striped down new identity yesterday in celebration of their 40th year serving up venti lattes and "The Starbucks Experience." The most remarkable thing about the unveiling? Popular comment from the design community has thus far been favorable, at least as far as we can tell from the HOW Magazine comments. At least more consistently positive than any logo launch we experienced in 2010. The true test will be the response once Brand New covers the story, oh, and to see how they execute the change this Spring.
