Sure, we need to pay the bills. If we're lucky, we get to pay the bills and do something awesome and fun. It's not called selling out, it's called being civil. However, it is healthy to partake in something just for creativity's sake. No client, no paycheck, no hard deadline, and no one breathing down your back.
