Tough guy T-Rex our new feathery friend

I'm not sure how this slipped past us, but a few weeks ago, a new species of dinosaur was discovered, which is all very interesting in and of itself. However, the most fascinating bit is that this species adorned feathers, a dinosaur first. Because it the close relation to Tyrannosaurus Rex, it is now suspected that T Rex was also feathery.

One can suspect the consequences of this discovery (it's on par with the discovery that Pluto was not a planet). Can T Rex maintain it's villainous reputation while sporting a multi-colored feathery coat?
