Position Summary:

As a Senior Marketing Strategist, you will work to understand a clients business and develop an innovative marketing strategy by producing cohesive and intelligent plans based on research, analysis, etc. that enhance the user experience and generate incremental revenue and loyalty engagement. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of marketing trends and be able to translate data into a story and a strategy that produces measurable results in market.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
• Partner closely with cross-functional team members to ensure clarity, focus and alignment on strategic plans and priorities
• Build and execute strategic plans that deliver on objectives and provide measurable results
• Translate complex inputs into simplified, written findings and recommendations
• Qualitative research (in-depth interviews, focus groups, etc.)
• Quantitative research (surveys)
• Conduct competitive and comparative assessments
• Data management and analysis in Excel
• Research and evaluate the latest digital tools, technologies and interactive
• Advocate for user-centered methodologies and incorporate research findings (from stakeholder interviews, customer surveys and usability testing, etc.) to enhance tests and streamline performance results
• Map experiences and journeys to identify key opportunities
• Optimize in-market campaigns
• Contribute simultaneously to diverse client objectives across a wide variety of industries
• Presentation building/storytelling in PowerPoint
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, information systems or equivalent certifications/work experience
• 3-5 years relevant work experience in digital marketing and communications in an analytical, consultative, and/or practitioner role
• Experience and interest working with leading marketing technology platforms, such as:
• Site analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
• Customer research and testing tools (Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, etc.)
• Marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager, HubSpot)
• Loyalty platforms (Cheetah, etc.)
• Previous experience and desire to work with cross-functional teams, including Client Service, Project Management, Design, Analytics, Technology, and Media
• Working knowledge of all key marketing channels with a focus on digital experience
• Ability to understand data and research findings and tease out insights that go beyond simple reporting
• Expertise in customer-experience related initiatives
• Desire to solve business problems in creative ways that move the needle
• Demonstrated experience with loyalty programs and growth strategies
• A healthy knowledge of media and communications and how strategic planning influences
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment
• Curiosity for new platforms and desire to “jump in”
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
